D&I Decorating the Workstation Contest

During the D&I week 2007 their was a workstation decration competition which took place, the competition was spread over 3 days in which everyone was invited to decorate their workstations onthe theme of D&I later on judges took a tour of whole Shell House and announced the winners 1 for evry floor, we also did it but we dint win, actualyl i do know why we dint win, the reason was we were never serious abt it until the upper mgmt asked us to do it just for the sake of participation, and whatever we did, we did in half an hour or may be even less, all n all NO FUN :P

By the way D&I means Diversity and Inclusivness :P

The Shell "Brand Week"

During the Shell Brand Week this yearthe focus was one launching the new brand strategy for Shell globally, and guess who ran teh campaign in Pakistan, well you guessed it right but it was a team effort, in the absence of some key personal we did our best to launch the campaign which ran not exactly to our expactations but it was good enough to get declared as a success.

Daddy's Treat at Hot and Spicy

First i would like to mention that i have seen no one as desprate as daddy to give a treat, hats off to daddy for this wonderful gesture.

Secondly i would like to mention that Daddy is not my father, but a very very very good infact a great friend of ours at KU DCS the treat also gave me chance to see some of the best ppl i have met during my KU days, one thing is assured whenever i meet then wherever i meet them it always feels like i had been with them in the class the same morning such is the bond..

I miss all those ppl i was linked with in my uni days, soemtimes im relecutant to expact the fact but yeah i do miss them.

Daddy and Umer khan aka candy also displayed one of the hidden talent they had os reparing cars :), future is always bright for such ppl :P..

The Seminar and Exhibition on "HASSLE FREE BUSINESS ENVOIRNMENT"




2nd May 2007, SMEDA organized an event for entrepreneurs and organizations supporting entrepreneurship. More then 40 institutions took part in it ranging from financial sector to coprate multinationals to govt. and semi govt. organizations.






Shell also has a project named TAMEER which promotes the idea of forseeing self employment as a viable career option, altough their is a designated team to run the project, fortunately or unfortunately the team was off for a training sesson in NewCastle UK. So i had been asked to fill in their shoes for one day and present Tameer in the Exhibition, well I did it, good or bad that only attendants can tell :$. but all in all it was a great experience and i enjoyed it.

When Zia was here...

Somewhere in April Zia came to Pakistan to visit his family and friends in Karachi from London.. we went out to places to eat to drink to enjoy to do khwaari and to do alot of badtameezi to the ppl walking in the side of road (this reminds me of Side manager, who was he ill tell you later, that if i want to :P ). we came up with a business plan too. which will either be a failure or a success cant be anything other then it. it was a short trip and things we do are ntohing to address in public, and why would anyone intrested reading it.. huh ??

Farewell to "Rana", "Mulla Omer", aur pata nahi kia kia..

A not so good friend of ours is finally leaving the town to persue his career primarily and his girl secondarily (if its the right word), one way where we wont miss him much on the other way we will surely miss all the "anokhi thor phor" he used to do (habitual bitch) ... we hope he fits in to the outside life and we also hope he gets the grip of things and girl both, long live dude (but outside khi)..

Mansoor, another habitual yundi, specially dedicated a song on Rana's farewell which goes like

all and all it was a good performance, given the circumstances :P, thats what peopel are saying... believe me it was the sound guy and some crap ppl who just never wanted us to play, all i can say to them is "Long Live" ..
